Kyle and Amanda met at Camp Carl as mutual friends, never knowing God was already writing their love story. After the summer, Kyle joined Amanda’s small group, and as they spent more time together, friendship grew into something more. One evening, Kyle came over to make Christmas cookies, and somewhere between the flour-covered counters and late-night conversations, they both realized their feelings had grown into something more. That night, Kyle went home and told his mom that he could see Amanda being his wife. A few days later, on a church retreat, Kyle asked Amanda to be his girlfriend, and their relationship continued to grow. Through their relationship, they have grown not only closer to each other but also into new passions and joys. Amanda discovered a love for fish tanks and chickens thanks to Kyle, while Kyle found himself falling in love with gardening and dogs because of Amanda. Together, they have learned that love is about sharing worlds, growing side by side and building something beautiful together. Kyle later proposed in his parents’ backyard, completely surprising Amanda, surrounded by candles, floating lanterns inspired by Tangled and the song “Ordinary” by Alex Warren playing in the background, a moment that reflected God’s faithfulness and perfect plan. With grateful hearts, they invite you to join them as they celebrate their love and the beginning of their forever together.

We invite our guests to dress in cocktail attire and have fun with color. Brights, pastels and patterns are all welcome, but if you prefer neutrals or do not have something colorful, please come in whatever makes you feel comfortable. We are simply excited to celebrate with you.
